The annual volunteers function for the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre was held earlier today at the soon to be completed Centre. I have had the privilege of not only being a volunteer but also having documented photographically a large portion of the progress on the construction site and functions of the Centre. Here are some of the images shot.

On Wednesday last week I had the privilige to be invited to the Musicians Lunch in Johannesburg.
It was a really great experiemce to meet up with, after many, many years. with the likes of maestro Benny Michel who was honoured for his recent 90th birthday. Ricky Pelling, Annabel Linder and Sam Sklair, Lance James, Peter Lotis, Bobby Louw and many other personalities, too many to mention. Thank you all for allowing me to "shoot" you all. These images are dedicated to all Musos.
To my friend Andre Steenkamp I thank you for having arranged for me to join and to my father Willie, a professional musician in his day and who played for many years in Benny Michel's band also joining. Bless you Dad in your 90th year

The Pretoria Hebrew Congregation celebrated Chanukah again with a vehicle parade with all the vehicles displaying their Menoras on top of their motor vehicles. Rain did not dampen the spirits of the community as they followed a wet and winding road to the Wingate Country Club Hall where the festivities continued with much gusto. The Menora competition again demonstrated the artistic talent of the community.
Here are some of the images taken of the parade, whenever I could get out of my own vehicle without drenching my trusty Nikon :)
