One of my most challenging recent studio shoots was of six week old twins Rupert and Finley. Challenging in the sense that they would not cooperate with the camera when I told them to smile or to obey any other instruction :)
It was such a great experience photographing them and some of the results are in this album.
Parents Marelise and Danie have committed to me doing some "progress" shoots of the boys as they grow up.
Thanks to Mom and Dad for allowing me to share these images.

Rowan and Carmen, a set on Flickr.
On Thursday night this week we led a group of photographers belonging to our peer mentoring group Exposure Gauteng, to Klapperkop Fort hill in Pretoria to photograph the Jacaranda trees in full bloom and then to photograph the magnificent sunset in the West.
As often happens, other opportunities very often present themselves photographically, and yesterday was no exception.
Rowan and Carmen, whom I saw for the first time there, a couple obviously very much in love, arrived to also observe the very romantic sunset.
This series of images that followed was totally impromptu.
Thank you Rowan and Carmen, for agreeing to pose for me and also for consenting to publication of these images.

Today the Pretoria Hebrew Congregation had a welcome function for the newly arrived Rabbinical students. It was also a day of showcasing of the artistic and musical talent of our community. The images shared in this album record some of the activities of the day. I had a great opportunity to capture our dynamic community in action again. Well done guys and ladies of the PHC and to Rebbetzin Aviva Fox for a great job done with the Arts and Crafts :)
