These are a random selection of images shot by me in 2013.  I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I enjoyed shooting them.
2013 was a year that was particularly challenging photographically.
 I have not been able to post all of the images that I would like to have posted, in the absence of contractual consents from the clients and in some instances to protect the privacy of other clients.
I have had the privilege to do jewellery shoots, clothing shoots, people shoots, pre school childrens shoots, wildlife shoots, air to air shoots, air to ground shoots, weddings, a Brit Milah ceremony of twin boys, gymnasts in action, downtown night shoots and then of course several air shows and other aviation events, dancers in action and landscape shoots and the list goes on.
It has been a great experience to have travelled the thousands of miles that I had to traverse to get some of these images. Africa is in my blood and the numerous trips to the Kruger National Park, Pilansberg and other parks have recharged my batteries each time I have patiently waited for long hours in a bird hide or driving or walking through the bush to get "that" image.
I look forward to many years ahead doing the same and will continue to post to this Blog :)

Our November outing of Exposure Gauteng was to capture gymnasts hard at practice in what I would not describe as friendly light circumstances. We had a great time and I share some of the images I shot on the day.

Tata, today Corinne, our daughter Tarryn and myself came to bid a final farewell to you.
Both our daughters were privileged to be born into the “Madiba” era and thankfully so.
You have been a beacon of light to all South Africans about reconciliation, forgiveness and above all, humility.
You leave a legacy for coming generations to follow. A legacy that may never be quite attained again, and you have done so with such dignity.
In every century a world leader of note is born, you were one of those leaders.
It is with extreme sadness that we stood filled with a deep sense of loss and full of emotion at the side of the road as the cortege passed. Farewell Tata, may you rest in peace.
I took some photographs, which I share, so that I can one day relate the story of your life and explain with pictures how we said our farewell to you to our grandchildren.
