The JHGC together with the United Nations Information Centre held a commemorative function at the SA Military Museum in Saxonwold on Wednesday this week. Ambassadors form Hungary, Spain and Israel were present as was the guest speaker Dr Robert Rozett from the Yad Vashem Holocaust Centre in Israel.
Survivors of the Holocaust and Survivors of the Rwandan Genocide were present.

On the 14th Tevet 5774/15th January 2014 young Avremi had his hair shorn, as is customary when a Jewish boy reaches the age of three years.
The images in this album capture some of the ambience of this happy occasion.
I have been privileged to have photographed young Avremi for the last two and a half years and I have seen this young man grow in this time.
I have also had the privilege to photograph the entire family for almost five years and it has been such a pleasure.
