On the day of the monthly SAAF Museum Flying day, I decided to stay on for a while and enjoy a snack at the Windsock when I was approached by Charles Wrioth to photograph this unique bunch of pilots of fighter and bomber aircraft as well as navigators. It was really a privilege to "shoot" these guys and lady. It is great being the only photographer left and then again proving that patience always gets you the shot :)

I had a really great opportunity yesterday, while babysitting our Grandson Keaton, by persuading Granny Corinne and the young man, to pose for me in the last available sunshine of the day. Corinne was reading the young man a story and he was attentively llstening and very serious about the whole event. As you can see, I was in my element, as was my Nikon and 70-200mm F2.8 lens. Just have to love the light at that time of day. Watch this space for more :)

My nephews Dean and Gary in operation with their MRU Life On Line team at t he Zwartkops Air Base yesterday providing medical assistance and transport to the marathon starting and finishing on the runway at the base. Well done guys.
