Tonight the Pretoria Hebrew Congregation celebrated the Tekes Smicha / Ordination of the 2013/5773 graduating young Rabbis. I personally had the privilege of getting to know each of these young men over the last year, and of course to photograph them on all the significant milestones during this year, from doing serious studio studies of each of them to the fun times of Chanukah and fancy dress time over Purim. I have also learnt so much from each of these fine young men during this time and take this opportunity of wishing them all the very best on their future journeys.

Today was a very special day at the Pretoria Hebrew Congregation where the Grinshtein family, Rabbi Aron and his wife Shira celebrated the mitzvah of Brit Milah on their newborn twin sons.
I have, as photographer been privileged to record photographically all the life cycle events in the family, including photographing their lovely daughters Rivka and Chana since birth. Today was no exception and I thank the family for tasking me with this photoshoot.

I also take this opportunity to wish the Grinshtein and Kazilsky families a hearty Mazaltov on the auspicious occasion.

Today I once again visited the site of the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre to shoot progress on the building. I have been doing so since the laying of the foundation on the site. It is amazing to see the project taking shape the way it has.
